Then it was straight back to the Edinburgh Coach Station to give photographing there a much better chance - and right off the bat, we're off to a decently varied start with our only National Express coach of the trip. Services at the city's out-of-the-way bus station... which mostly serves coaches, are guaranteed to keep running from here until at least 2042, with a new lease agreement made between Edinburgh Council and the bus station's owners. It means the six National Express services running out of Edinburgh still have somewhere comfortable and covered for passengers to wait and depart from... if that lease had not been sorted, then who knows what would've happened?
The only National Express coach I managed to catch on this whole trip, Bruce's National Express-contracted BF21 CZX, a 2021 Scania K450EB6 Caetano Levante III, is seen departing Edinburgh Coach Station on a 591 to London via various destinations along the A1.
