Il quartiere di Odaiba è di fatto un’isola artificiale nella baia di Tokyo. Qui possiamo trovare una replica della Statua Della Libertà di New York, più piccola dell’originale, alta 12 metri contro i 46 metri senza piedistallo dell’originale. Nonostante ciò è stata realizzata con cura e attenzione ai dettagli, compresi il volto e la corona, per ricordare l'originale simbolo di libertà e democrazia. La statua venne installata nel 1998 per celebrare l’amicizia tra Giappone e Stati Uniti, ma divenne talmente popolare che rimase un’attrazione permanente.
