Wrecked boat at Orford Ness in Suffolk.
Orford Ness is a shingle spit linked to the mainland at Aldeburgh and stretching along the coast to Orford and down to North Weir Point, opposite Shingle Street.
It is divided from the mainland by the River Alde, and was formed by longshore drift along the coast.

The gothic tower and the Neptune statue at Hardwick Country Park in County Durham. This is a nice place, just off junction 60 of the A1 in north east England. Plenty of pathways to walk or cycle, also plenty of birds to see/photograph and a large variety of trees and flowers too.
The 2020 poppy season is starting, a few fields are already crimson and many more will be turning red as June arrives and the warmth of high summer casts its spell across the British countryside.
