I uploaded about 1 out of every 3 photos I shot during a day hike on the Westberg Memorial Trail, Ellensburg, Washington. The hike is four miles (6.4 Kilometers) round trip with a 1,700 foot (518 meters) elevation gain.
There are great views of the Mt Stuart and the Stuart Range from the top of the ridge. After reaching the top there are many miles of jeep trails.

I packed up, hiked from my camp at Jordan Basin, set up camp a short distance from the PCT Snowgrass Flat trail junction and hiked to the top of Old Snowy Peak on the second day of a three day backpack trip in the Goat Rocks Wilderness, Washington State, USA. This is the view from Old Snowy's summit.
From a mountaineering point of view I probably don't have these peaks correctly identified. One source reports tha Gilbert Peak or Mt Gilbert, or Mt Curtis Gilbert Peak was once called Goat Rocks. Also, I beleive that Gilbert spelled his name "Curtiss." This is the highest point in the Goat Rocks Wilderness at 8201 feet.
Lighting of Old Snowy is poor in the photo. IMG_7569
The Goat Rock Wilderness, Lewis County, Washington, USA, Goat Ridge Trail and beyond. I hiked to the top of Old Snowy Mtn on the second day of this three day trip. This is a telephoto shot of Old Snowy. The Pacific Crest Trail is visible in the rocks along on the left side of the photo. White Pass is a long day hike from here. IMG_7362
