Queen's Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa) and Royal Poinciana (Delonix regia) are two of the most striking tropical flowering trees, captured at BAU campus. The Crape Myrtle dazzles with its lavender-pink blooms and smooth bark, while the Poinciana bursts into fiery red-orange flowers, creating a canopy of color. Both trees are celebrated for their ornamental beauty and are often planted in gardens, parks, and avenues across warm climates. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, they offer shade, attract pollinators, and enhance biodiversity.
