Farnborough, UK - 5 September 1986
Farnborough International 86
Named 'Abraham Lincoln'
British Aerospace were really pushing the BAe 146 at Farnborough 86, with two aircraft in the flying display and another two in the static. G-OHAP was delivered to Presidential Airways as N403XV shortly after its Farnborough appearance, on 13 Sep 1986.
It seems that all BAe 146 aircraft used for demonstration purposes were (re-)registered with a UK registration; whether this was due to regulatory requirements or was just a British Aerospace preference is not known. Although the personalisation was essentially unnecessary, the registration reflected the initials of the airline's president, Harold Pareti.
