Clinging to the side of a railway overpass near Clinton, BC, an original British Columbia Railway sign stands as a monument to the test of time. 41 years after the railway initially changed its name to BC Rail, the sign still stands, proudly displaying the initials of the railway that once connected the province from North to South.
I loved the dark burgundy section of this tunnel. Being lucky enough to catch the light trail passing through the centre of the frame really adds to it too (and that red glow reflection on the poster!).
Moments prior I had been taking shots just before the tunnel. A couple of guys wandered past and stopped. My heart sank- they were going to engage us in conversation. I always feel so, so awkward as I really just want to take my photographs and be left alone. They were perfectly nice but there were loads of questions about what Michael and I were doing. Anxiety levels increased, embarrassment increased. Argh.
