I could have hiked this trails for days on end. The beauty that surrounded me was just vast and humbling.
We had a lovely but short visit to the Northern California Redwood forests this week.
We opted to head back to hike the redwoods around sunset. It made for interesting light selectively hitting subjects. I loved this little spot.

We just returned from a quick trip to the northern California Coast. Conditions were nearly perfect and the crowds were easy. Love that place!

Rhododendrons can bloom in this May late may or early June. One photographer noted that the blooming bush we were standing in front of normally blooms in late May, so it was running about a week or two late.
