ALLA RICERCA DEL FIUME SOTTERRANEO


Dal 1986 il parco è incluso nella lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO.

Tra tutte le grotte di origine carsica al mondo, quelle di Škocjan sono più uniche che rare e particolarmente apprezzate per il loro prezioso patrimonio naturale. Non solo per il canyon sotterraneo più grande al mondo che stupisce ogni singolo visitatore, ma anche per una marea di altre caratteristiche perle che vi invitano a visitare il Parco regionale.
Il mondo ipogeo è composto da innumerevoli grotte e gallerie, valli di crollo, ponti naturali e inghiottitoi, creati dal fiume Reka che, dopo 50 km di corsa in superficie, scompare dalla luce del Sole nei sotterranei del Carso, per poi riapparire nel Golfo di Trieste e nei cui mari sfocia. Il suo incredibile canyon fluviale è tra le parti più conosciute delle grotte.

IN SEARCH OF THE UNDERGROUND RIVER

Since 1986, the park has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Among all the karst caves in the world, the Škocjan Caves are more unique than rare and especially appreciated for their precious natural heritage. Not only for the largest underground canyon in the world that amazes every single visitor, but also for a host of other characteristic pearls that invite you to visit the Regional Park.
The underground world consists of countless caves and galleries, collapse valleys, natural bridges and sinkholes, created by the Reka River which, after 50 km of running on the surface, disappears from the sunlight in the underground of the Karst, only to reappear in the Gulf of Trieste and into whose seas it flows. Its incredible river canyon is among the most famous parts of the caves.

C'E' CHI HA SCELTO IL POSTO MIGLIORE


Il lago di Bled è uno dei luoghi più belli della Slovenia. Col suo castello e la chiesetta che domina dall’isola, il lago è splendido in tutte le stagioni.
Un sentiero pedonale circonda il lago di Bled. Ci si può impiegare all’incirca un’ora e mezza per questa passeggiata lunga 6 km. Si può camminare nella parte inferiore della strada, sia lungo un’ampia pista ciclabile.
L’acqua è pulita e non è gelata come quella di altri laghi di montagna. Ed è “emoliente” sulla pelle come l’acqua termale. Tutt’intorno al lago si trovano spiagge erbose per allungarsi a prendere il sole e rilassarsi.

SOMEONE HAS CHOSEN THE BEST PLACE

Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia. With its castle and the little church that dominates from the island, the lake is beautiful in all seasons.
A walking path circles Lake Bled. It takes about an hour and a half to walk this 6 km long walk. You can walk on the lower part of the road, or along a wide cycling path.
The water is clean and not frozen like that of other mountain lakes. And it is “emollient” on the skin like thermal water. All around the lake there are grassy beaches where you can lie down, sunbathe and relax.

DISCESA SUL FIUME ISONZO IN KAYAK


Il fiume Soča è una destinazione europea molto popolare per gli appassionati di kayak. Le rapide con tratti di vari gradi di difficoltà (da I a V) si addicono ai principianti e in altri tratti anche ai canoisti provetti che preferiscono i percorsi tecnicamente più esigenti.

The Soča River is a very popular European destination for kayaking enthusiasts. The rapids with sections of varying difficulty (from I to V) are suitable for beginners and in other sections also for experienced kayakers who prefer technically more demanding routes.

A DUE PASSI DALL'ITALIA SUL FIUME ISONZO


La discesa in gommone per le acque smeraldine del fiume Soča (fiume Isonzo in italiano) viene annoverata tra le cinque esperienze slovene più belle.
Il tragitto preferito dalla maggior parte dei visitatori scende per 10 km iniziando dal ponte di Log Čezsoški, nelle immediate vicinanze della cascata Boka, fino a Trnovo ob Soči. Le prime rapide più semplici introducono il gruppo di rematori assieme alla guida al fiume che serpeggia sovrastato dalle vette delle Alpi Giulie, per portarli alle rapide più impegnative del Soča.
Il rafting sul Soča dura 2-3 ore. Non sono necessarie alcune conoscenza particolari tranne il nuoto.

A STONE'S THROW AWAY FROM ITALY ON THE ISONZO RIVER

Drifting down the emerald waters of the Soča River (Isonzo River in Italian) is considered one of the five most beautiful Slovenian experiences.
The route preferred by most visitors descends for 10 km starting from the Log Čezsoški Bridge, in the immediate vicinity of the Boka Waterfall, to Trnovo ob Soči. The first, easier rapids introduce the group of paddlers together with the guide to the river that winds beneath the peaks of the Julian Alps, leading them to the more challenging rapids of the Soča.
Rafting on the Soča lasts 2-3 hours. No special knowledge is required except swimming.

I tuffi dal ponte, che scavalca il fiume Isonzo, sono la manifestazione piu rinomata di Kanal e attrae ogni anno numerosi spettatori. I concorrenti provenienti da varie nazioni si tuffano dal ponte dell'altezza di 17 metri.

Diving from the bridge, which crosses the Isonzo river, is the most famous event in Kanal and attracts numerous spectators every year. Competitors from various countries dive from the 17 meter high bridge.

LA LUNGA ESTATE CALDA


Pirano è un borgo di pescatori e quindi il pesce è il principe indiscusso dei piatti tipici della cucina locale.
Crostacei, frutti di mare ed il pescato del giorno addobbano le vetrine dei numerosi ristoranti e osterie situati sul lungomare e negli stretti vicoli del centro storico.
Pirano però non è solo pesce. È uno scrigno di sapori che trovate nelle pietanze tradizionali della cucina istriana, preparate con amore seguendo ancora le ricette tramandate dalle nonne.
Camminare lungo l’intricato reticolo di vicoli pedonali del centro storico, fermarsi ad osservare le architetture di campi e campielli,oppure fare due chiacchiere con i pescatori sulla banchina, assistere al tramonto sul lungomare.....in questa cittadina non ci si annoia di certo.

THE LONG HOT SUMMER
