Inosperma cf. rimosoides (Peck ) Esteve-Rav. (B)

= Inocybe rimosoides Peck
= Inocybe rimosa ss. auctt. amer. p. p.

YL0278 (CMMF).

---

Chapeau rimeux, jaune paille à jaune olivâtre, atteignant 74 mm de diamètre.
Pied égal, atteignant 85 x 7 mm, non bulbeux, non pruineux y compris à l’apex.

Black-rimmed Prominent Moth 7922
RWWA-0036 A species level match has been made
added 4-2010; for Pheosia rimosa - Black-rimmed Prominent Moth 7922. Originally as Pheosia portlandia - Portland Prominent Moth 7923, DNA barcode haplotypes of Washington and British Columbia portlandia are entirely or nearly identical to typical rimosa from B.C. and Alberta, and there are no differences in genitalic structure. Intermediate phenotypes occur across a large geographical area from central British Columbia to central Washington.
wingspan ~51mm

Note: Formally as Portland Prominent Moth 7923:
Pheosia portlandia [7923] is a synonym. It has previously been treated as a distinct species, replacing P. rimosa in Pacific coastal forests. DNA barcode haplotypes of Washington and British Columbia portlandia are entirely or nearly identical to typical rimosa from B.C. and Alberta and there are no differences in genitalic structure. Intermediate phenotypes occur across a large geographical area from central British Columbia to central Washington.

YL2805 (CMMF).
