Hard To Catch Havens

Class leader WH001 leads the charge with fellow WH class units 002 and 003 with a North bound empty WhiteHaven train seen here approaching High Street bound for Gunnedah where it will load and return in the early hours of the next morning.

The WhiteHaven (WH) class locomotives are a GT46-ACe model, built locally in Australia by Downer Rail in Cardiff, NSW. Only 3 WH class locomotives where ever built and introduced in a very basic White/Black/Blue livery. This essentially is the colour scheme LDP001/2/3 are painted in except with no logos. The WH class are operated by Pacific National and used specifically on this rake.
