during a paristrip, my children where undisturbed and took there time to feed the paris pigeons.

MONTMARTRE-PARIS-PINTURA-ARTE-PANORAMICA-BASILICA-SACRE COEUR-CASAS-CIELO-ARTISTA-PINTOR-ERNEST DESCALS-
So we visited Sacre Coeur to take in the view, when I was approached by four or five fellows who tried to engage me in conversation at rhe bottom of the stairs. One physically blocked my way, pushing me back while another proceeded to tie a string bracelet to my left arm.
He made friendly talk and I reciprocated, finding that he was from Senegal. I politely protested, saying I had to rejoin my family, but the rest of them blocked my way.
Once done, he slipped this into the conversation:
"Since you are from Canada, I won't charge you a lot".
I pulled off my bracelet and started walking, but his friend pushed me back once more. I managed to slip by them and they not-so-politely directed a few expletives at me and showed me which way was up (see photograph above).
I lifted my camera and snapped a picture as they walked towards me. One lunged at my camera but I kept shooting until they backed off.
These Parisians are so incredibly friendly, helping facilitate my shot of the day.
