Some amazing colorful nudibranch finds under Stearn's Wharf in Santa Barbara.
Had quite a nice beach-dive at Refugio State Beach, along the "good" east reef. The storms ripped away a lot of the kelp growing off the structure, but the colorful small life was still plentiful. Here's a ring spotted dorid nudibranch cruising over a patch of bryazoans... it doesn't eat them, so it must be hoping to run into a sponge.
Made a quick local dive with a friend under Stearn's Wharf right before the storms hit Southern California. We figured it'd be a few days before we could dive again, and wanted to sneak in one last peek. Nice to find 5 species of nudi's spread out under the wharf.
