No surprise, Taxco has many churches and this one is Santuario del Señor de la Santa Cruz Verdadera.
Santuario del Señor de la Santa Veracruz is one of the city’s oldest and most revered churches, dating back to the 16th
century.
This temple dates to 1580, its foundation is related to the brotherhood, whose patron was the Holy Christ of Veracruz.
The church was rebuilt in 1817 and again after a fire in 1835. The style it presents is Neoclassical.
