Hanson & Hall 50 008 Thunderer undertakes the complex shunt to deliver the London Underground 4TC set back to Ruislip LU Depot. Having missed it's arrival by minutes into the platform loop it's now pushing the 4TC set back from the up to the down line. Then it will run forward again before backing into the shunt on the far left before running forward into the depot. The shunting equivalent of the 'Hokey Cokey' if you will. The Class 50 had brought the 4TC set back from an outing at the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway. Back in the days of Network Southeast, NSE 50s used to run this route with MK.2 Coaches on the Paddington to Oxford route.

Pakość lies in Kuyavia, a region in central Poland, on the old railway line no. 206 Inowrocław - Żnin (-Drawski Młyn). The line was constructed at the end of the 19th century, with the first parts of it being closed down at the start of the 1990s. It now is split into two parts - Rogoźno Wlkp. - Bzowo Goraj, and Inworocław - Żnin. The line towards Żnin is theoretically entirely functional, though trains only run as far as Inowrocław - Wapienno. The latter is home to a big cement plant and limestone quarry, which managed to save this line from complete closure. Despite this, passenger trains don't run here since 2004.

Pakość serves as a local station between Inowrocław and Wapienno with just 4 tracks. Despite its relatively recent modernisation, it still remains very natural and organic. Its eastern part made for a background for TEM2-223 as it was shunting towards an empty set of gondolas, which it had brought here for unloading the day prior.

To the left of the locomotive is an old brick mill building from 1863.

Némi kihagyás után ismét volt szerencsém egy iparos Bobóhoz, a "Szergej 60" hétvége mondhatni mellékprogramjaként sikerült megörökítenem Ózdon a helyi vasmű egyik gépét. A jelenleg az Ózdi Acél Trans Kft. kötelékébe tartozó 449 126 eredetileg DVM2-1224-esként kezdett el dolgozni. Ez az 1967/1224-es gyári számú, DVM2-42 altípusú gép 1967-ben került állományba, az akkor még Ózdi Lenin Kohászati műnek hívott vasműbe. A pályaszám mellett az iparban volt külön belsős azonosítója is a mozdonyoknak, ez a gép volt az ÓKÜ-72-es. A később Ózdi Kohászati Mű nevet viselő cég továbbra is használta a gépet, feltehetően a rendszerváltás után kaphatta az A25 026-os pályaszámot. 1995-ben megalakult az Ózdi Acél-Trans Kft., amely cég átvette a belső vasúti kiszolgálást. A cég mozdonyait a BoBo Kft.-nél nagyjavítják, ez a gép is C vizsga keretében újult meg a miskolci cégnél 2021. novemberében. A gép rendelkezik 12 számjegyű azonosítóval is, ez a 98 55 0449 126-9.


A gépek napi több alkalommal mozognak fotózható területen, viszont teljesen lutri mivel az ipar igényeihez van igazítva a közlekedés, a Center-i forgalmista sem tudja megmondani pontosan hogy mozognak a gépek, a közlekedés szinte végig saját pályahálózaton történik. Aznap másfél-két óránként történt mozgás. A személyzet úgy vettem észre barátságos, tolerálják a fotósokat, integetnek. Viszont a helyi szabályokat komolyan kell venni, a vasmű kerítésen kívüli finomrendezője, mondjuk úgy Ózd felőli pályahálózata magánterület, amelyet járőrszolgálat és kamera véd, erre tábla is figyelmeztet. A fotón Center felől érkezik a mozdony, kohósalak ürítés után. Ilyenkor a mozdonnyal felhúznak egészen a Dózsa György úti átjáróig, amely biztosított tolatásjelzővel és fény-, illetve félsorompóval van biztosítva. A sorompót az iparvasút tolatásvezetője kezeli a helyszínről. Ezután általában az ÓAM kettes portája felé tol vissza a mozdony. Aznap a Törzsgyár felől is volt mozgás, a 449 034 érkezett gépmenetként, majd távozott Center felé. Ezt a gépet később Centerben volt szerencsém vonatból fotózni, egy rakott ócskavas-vonattal várakozott, minden bizonnyal az Acélmű felé tolt be ezután

Neue Fuhre

SM42-517, produced in 1972, was laid off from service in PKP Cargo after half a century of duty. It was awaiting scrapping, but got miraculously saved by SPS ASO Mieczkowski, a company which has a long history of repairing engines for many different carriers, aswell as collecting a bunch of old rolling stock. They have one steam locomotive and a double decker Bhp set (one of the very few remaining in Poland).

The SM42-517 was bought by the company in 2023 and in april of 2025 it got its final finishing touches after a lengthy repair. It got the paint scheme from SP42 locomotives, aswell as some subtle decor on the cowcatchers, which has really caught my eye.

We had a really intense and successful day, and the SM42 came almost as a surprise and a very nice finishing touch to all the other trains we got on picture. Here it is seen arriving at Inowrocław Rąbinek, where the headquarters of SPS ASO M. are, running as LTS 155015 Koluszki - Inowrocław Rąbinek. The loco still hasn't got the date of repair written on it, which I guess will be added at the company's depot.

I assume in the coming months we might see the locomotive run with TurKol trains or other special rides.
