What a civilising effect trams can have on a city; Sheffield Supertram 105 sitting in sun outside the city's fine Cathedral on a recent visit to South Yorkshire. 105 is a Duewag, Düsseldorf, Germany build of the 'original' fleet of 1993/94. The system has just reverted to public ownership and operation, under the Combined Mayoral Authority, and here's hoping that the system may now see some deserved development.
