As they migrate from their breeding grounds, small groups of yellowlegs will find a local wetland and spends some time foraging for insects, and if available, other forms of protein and fat. In this case, a yellowlegs has caught one of the small fish (as stickleback) that spend time along the edge of the water.

Colour balance was a challenge here as the bird was in the shade, which gives a blue tone to things, while the bright reflection on the water is from yellowish vegetation. I don't know if I got it right.
