Bobov Dol Thermal Power Plant near the village of Dolemo Selo, Western Bulgaria. It is a coal-fired power plant situated in the lands of the village Golemo Selo 16 km from the town of Bobov Dol, Bulgaria. The plant is based on the Bobov Dol coal mines and has an installed capacity of 630 MW. The National Electric Company intends to sell the power plant. One of the investors has proposed to add 2 new turbines to the 3 existing ones. Its chimney is 200 metres tall.
