Arctostaphylos viridissima 'White Cloud'—white-haired manzanita. A species from Santa Cruz Island, mainland collections,likely belong to another Arctostaphylos species. A. viridissima is included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 4.2 (limited distribution). The cultivar 'White Cloud' was introduced by Bert Johnson, a retired gardener who worked at Regional Parks Botanic Garden for many years. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA
