The American Mariner is currently docked at General Mills in Buffalo, NY, most likely holding out for better weather after its most recent delivery.
Similar to the Manitoulin, which has been stuck about a mile from its drop-off point for several days, this lake freighter makes multiple trips throughout the year to deliver goods to the General Mills manufacturing plant on the Buffalo River.
Lake freighter traffic in Buffalo is much lighter compared to, say, Port Huron in Michigan, so seeing both of these freighters in the past two days has been a real treat.

Volunteers from Bristol's M Shed museum demonstrate traditional loading & unloading of freight as part of the docks heritage weekend, with the MV Balmoral adding to the early 20th century atmosphere which is only given away by the more current scene across the harbour that photobombed me as I attempted to include some of the nearby period features in the scene.
One of the last operational dockside cranes is seen during the loading & unloading demonstrations put on as part of Bristol's Docks Heritage Weekend lowering a pallet of barrels onto a flat railway wagon.
