On 1520 mm broad gauge, a unit train full of iron ore travels deep into Slovakia on European standard gauge territory. It is coming from Uzhhorod in Ukraine. It entered Slovakia at Maťovské Vojkovce where Slovakian locomotives took over. It is going to Haniska pri Košiciach to serve the mammoth U.S. Steel Košice (USSK) factory.
The train is led by two ZSSK-Cargo class 125 twin-electrics, one of them kept in heritage livery: 125-841-7 in the current rolling stock numbering, and E469-5018. Another class 125 is pushing on the rear and can barely be seen in the middle of the picture.
