Após descarga no dia anterior no terminal de mercadorias da Bobadela, a composição parcialmente carregada e traccionada pela locomotiva 335.029 encaminha-se para a triagem do porto de Leixões, onde carregará mais contentores permitindo o seu regresso a Valência com 100% de ocupação.

After unload some containers on Bobadela freight terminal in the day before, the consist pulled by 335.029 locomotiva heads to Leixões port where will load more containers until reach it's full capacity and return to Valência.

Depois de assegurado pela Captrain/Takargo e a Medway, desde Março de 2025 o serviço de transporte de contentores entre Portugal (Leixões e Bobadela) e Espanha (Valencia) contratado pela COSCO é assegurado pelo operador ferroviário Continental Rail.
Tal permite ver as locomotivas da série 335 com o esquema deste operador em circulação por linhas portuguesas, embora os serviços em terrirtório nacional ainda sejam esporádicos. Contudo, a Continental investiu em equipar a sua frota de 335 com o sistema de segurança Convel, permitindo que além da 335.022 (uma das 4 primeiras locomotivas 335 equipadas com Convel) outras locomotivas assegurem serviço em Portugal. É o caso da 335.018 que encaminha uma bem preenchida composição de contentores à passagem pelos pinhais de Arada, um pouco antes da passagem pela cidade de Ovar.

Almost entering Ovar station, 335.081 locomotive pull a colorful consist of containers on its way to Valencia (Spain). This train departed from Leixões and will run by Entroncamento and Badajoz. This service is chartered by COSCO and supported now by Continental Rail, but in past has supported by Captrain/Takargo and by Medway. It is the only service on Portugal taken until now by more than 2 train operators.

Um pouco a sul da estação de Ovar, a locomotiva 335.038 alugada pela Captrain à Alpha Trains tracciona uma colorida composição de contentores com destino a Valencia (via Badajoz) e origem no porto de Leixões. Este serviço é fretado pelo armador COSCO e está a cargo da Captrain España.

Wegens grote werkzaamheden tussen Immigrath en Opladen in Duitsland rijden er tussen Düsseldorf-Eller en Stolberg(Rheinland) treinen met vuile grond en balast.
Een van die treinen die ik deze dag samen met de SEL 234 en 181 kon vastleggen was de MB Bau 277 809 (G1700).
MB Bau staat voor Michael Bugdoll Bau und Sicherheitsüberwachtung e.K. Deze firma is sinds 2009 gevestigd in het Duitse Dorsten. Het heeft een partnerschap met DB AG en dan wel bij de Bahnbau gruppe afdeling ervan. Dus met andere woorden voert deze firma werkzaamheden uit aan het spoor voor dus DB AG.
De firma MB Bau beschikt over een aantal diesellocomotieven o.a Mak 1600bb,G6, G1700 en G1206 daarnaast beschikt het over een aantal kleine treinen die ze in het Duits nebenfahrzeugen noemen (kleine werktreinen van fabrikant Robel met kraanvoorziening).
Nu weer terug komend naar het foto moment met de MB Bau 277 809.
Het is al ver einde zonlicht deze toch wel wat frissere namiddag en wachten op de SEL 181 204 kwam deze verschijning nog eerst ervoor voorbij , die werd dan natuurlijk ook door de 5tal aanwezige fotografen mee vastgelegd.
De MB Bau 277 809 bolt met het vuile goed hier door Kaarst/Meerbusch om zijn reis naar eind punt Stolberg te vervolgen.

Locomotiva 6003 traccionando uma composição carregada com contentores após passagem pelo apeadeiro de Fornos-Vilela e a momentos de cruzar com o IC2 (cruzamento desnivelado).

68018 caught on the rear of 1Z02, The Welsh and Victorian Highlander rail tour passing Conwy Castle, 68033 was on the front of this Holyhead to Norwich return working operated by Nenta Railtours, Saturday 4.5.19.

IRP 2201 met Connexxion 5033 aan de haak in Barneveld Zuid.
Nadat in Meulunteren de bovenleiding werd kapot getrokken was Connexxion 5033 gestrand tussen de plek in Meulunteren en Barneveld Zuid. Het treinstel is door IRP wegsleeploc weer terug gesleept naar Barneveld Centrum waar deze weer onde de draad gezet kon worden.

Sheffield Suprtram 201 on the new 'tram train' route to Rotherham Parkgate next to 123 on the blue route to Malin Bridge.
Tram Train started service earlier in November having been at least three years in the preparation.
The trams have been around for two to three years and from spring 2018 have been used on the existing blue and yellow routes.
Tram Train was three years late and massively over-budget funded mainly by the government as tan experimental setup to try out the train train concept where the trams run on the streets of Sheffield and on 'in-use' rail tracks.
It's ironic that with Train Train finally running, SYPTE, the owners of Supertram, and operator Stagecoach, are looking for £230 million to replace existing trams and upgrade ageing infrastructure that is now 23 years old!
It has been suggested that if funding cannot be found the Supertram system will need to be decommissioned, tram tracks dug up and routes revert to diesel buses.
What a stupid, stupid idea. although with a conservative government that doesn't know what it's doing anything is possible (I'm being polite here)!

This is the rear of the train. 68025 had been the leading locomotive, inside the station out of sight.
The return working, due to depart at 1413, promptly left 97 minutes early.
