Gallop of Flame – Watercolor Realism by khayosart

Gallop of Flame – Watercolor Realism

Gallop of Flame captures the raw, unbridled spirit of freedom in full motion. Rendered in elegant watercolor realism, the horse bursts forth like a wildfire through the dust, mane ablaze with wind and purpose. Every muscle, every strand of hair, every puff of desert grit echoes the primal poetry of movement. This is not just a horse—it is a heartbeat unleashed across an open plain.

Širom otvorena krila

Uvijek me iznova očara kad leptir raširi krila i mirno se prepusti suncu.
Canon EOS R7 + TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2x

I am always fascinated by butterflies when they open their wings wide — as if inviting us into their hidden world of colour and calm. This Meadow Brown (Maniola jurtina) rested quietly on a blade of grass in the soft morning light.
Canon EOS R7 + TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2x

Canon EOS R7 + TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2x

Canon EOS R7 + TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2x

Canon EOS R7 + TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2x

Wild Beauty!

I always thought this was a wild rose but when I took this photo this morning a woman stopped and said to me "isn't that rugosa rose, lovely?"

I responded by saying indeed they are but thought it was just called a wild rose but she said, no, that is was a rugosa rose! As the saying goes, "everyday is a school day!"

The Wild Garden

Engaging return to this Alpine valley after seven months.
The last snowfall in April still left pleasant traces on the higher peaks and north-facing slopes.
All the meadows are richly coloured with flowers and are a joy to behold.

The wind-masters

The Quiet Way Home

A narrow path, framed by wild greens and whispers of the ocean ahead. Every step echoes the promise of salt-kissed air and the timeless invitation of the shore. Some roads don’t lead away. They lead back to yourself.

A Glimpse of Blue on the Grassy Summit by malioli

A Glimpse of Blue on the Grassy Summit

Perched on the soft "canopy" of Bromus madritensis, an Adonis blue (Polyommatus bellargus) spread its wings — a whisper of sky, captured by an old friend: my very first DSLR, the Canon EOS Rebel T3, paired with a 100mm macro lens.

This image may be slightly blurred, but sometimes, memories are soft too.
And yet the feeling remains sharp — not because of the gear, but because of the moment.
I still remember the quiet joy, the trembling grass, the sudden flutter of fragile blue.

My old camera often rests in the shadows of newer ones — the 77D, the R7.
But here, with this butterfly, its heart beat once again.

📍 Shot handheld, early summer light, on a dry meadow that remembers every step.

Where the River Dreams by Echoes Unframed

Where the River Dreams

Hidden in the shade of ancient stones, the water speaks in whispers only the forest understands. Every drop, a memory; every fall, a breath. Here, the river dreams — and the world forgets to rush.
