Alte Dorfkirche Dahlen (Neubrandenburg)

Old Village Church of Dahlen (Neubrandenburg)
A church architecture that captivates me as a viewer.
The Dahlen Church is a fieldstone building from the 13th century and is built in the Gothic style. A half-timbered tower was built on the 15th-century fieldstone tower base in the 18th century.

A stroll through a souvenir shop
We stroll through the town of Waren (Müritz), a spa town in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. One thing we really liked...the regional cuisine. Also, the area's abundance of water and forests.

Winterfest....verschlossen und verpackt by dl1ydn

Winterproof...locked and packed
This cupboard obviously didn't have a place in the house. It will probably have to spend the winter outside in the most adverse weather conditions.

Are there fish in there?
A cat at the edge of this swimming pool in a hotel complex in Side (Turkey). It might be that it thinks floating leaves are a fish. Its gaze... follows the body shadow.

It was impossible to miss
This chic boat was lying there in the port of Heraklion, as if ready to be picked up. I didn't really try to find the owner, though. A photo is enough for me. The design and the two colors...well done.

Birch in autumn
At the end of November there were still a few leaves on the branches. The opportunity... to let the leaves shine in their golden color and the birch wood with its typical light bark through the blue of the sky.

Anlegestelle im Hafen (Heraklion) by dl1ydn

Mooring point in the harbor (Crete)
This old mooring eyelet in the port of Heraklion is probably several decades old. Boat owners obviously still have a lot of trust and tie the mooring lines here. Very rusty, but stable.

Hat was.

El Viento (The Wind)
There are also a number of guests milling around in the port of Heraklion (not very big). This boat with its Spanish name was simply impossible to miss. But I was a little jealous, as sailing boats are almost always very lucrative and well equipped.
It's got something.

In the port of Heraklion (Crete)
The edge of the harbor basin is beautifully decorated with old anchors and link chains. Here you can see a chain link very close up. Rust and patina suggest that it is very old.

16mm cinema frame is about two-thirds of this Nikon1 (1inch). Seems this lens can also be used as standard lens for 16mm cinema, but there are no such Zeiss Ikon products. Their professional AK16 was equipped with Biotar 25mm f1.4.

This was probably designed by Dr. Zöllner. He was born near Jena and head of optical calculation department at Voigtlander, and after the war he stayed in East and head of optical calculation department at Carl Zeiss Jena, and then became head of research and development in photography department.
