The best Hookah experience in Tehran. Located in an old cellar off the Khayyam Street, at the heart of Tehran's Grand Bazzar, The price was cheap (2 Dollars in 2008-9) and the quality and flavor was unsurpassed. Women were not allowed which was unpleasant to western eyes but that's how it is. One needs to accept the local tradition for full experience and leave the human rights issues to diplomats to solve.

Located east of Tehran's Grand Bazaar District, the blue dome belongs to the tomb of Zeynolaabedin, prayer emam of Tehran. The name "Sare Ghabre Agha" literally means "By The Grave of the Master". The building is not open to the public and although more than a century old but is of no historical significance.

داشتند فرش ها را رفو می کردند

خانهء دوست کجاست؟
در فلق بود که پرسيد سوار.
آسمان مکثی کرد.
رهگذر شاخهء نوری که به لب داشت به تاريکی شن‌ها بخشيد
و به انگشت نشان داد سپيداری و گفت:
«نرسيده به درخت،
کوچه باغی است که از خواب خدا سبزتر است
و در آن عشق به اندازهء پرهای صداقت آبی است.
می‌روی تا ته کوچه که از پشت بلوغ، سر بدر می‌آرد،
پس به سمت گل تنهايی می‌پيچی،
دو قدم مانده به گل،
پای فوارهء جاويد اساطير زمين می‌مانی
و ترا ترسی شفاف فرا می‌گيرد.
در صميميت سيال فضا، خش‌خشی می‌شنوی:
کودکی می‌بينی
رفته از کاج بلندی بالا، جوجه بردارد از لانهء نور
و از او می‌پرسی
خانهء دوست کجاست.
