Avro Lancaster B.Mk I PA474 was built by Vickers Armstrongs Ltd. at Chester in 1945. It was assigned to 82 Squadron, Royal Air Force, (with its gun turrets removed) for photographic reconnaissance duties in the South and East of Africa. The aircraft appears displayed as W4964 Code J-Johnny, with its famous nose-art painting of the Johnny Walker whisky symbol.

Avro Lancaster B.Mk I PA474 was then assigned to Flight Refuelling, and subsequently to the College of Aeronautics, Cranfield, for Laminar Flow Wing test work. In 1964 the aircraft went to RAF Waddington for installation of its gun turrets; and in 1973 it was transferred to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. In 1975 it was adopted by the City of Lincoln, with the city crest appearing on the starboard nose, above + behind the Code J. The aircraft is based at RAF Coningsby.

Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 44-124485 (G-BEDF). After construction, the aircraft was taken in charge by the USAAF in June 1945. It was later converted to a trainer version. Subsequently, it was struck off charge in 1954, and bought by the Institut Geographique National, in France, for use in aerial survey work.

Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 44-124485 (G-BEDF).In 1975, the aircraft was flown to the UK, being registered as G-BEDF, and was restored to its wartime configuration, In 1983 it was painted in an olive drab and grey scheme, in place of its bare metal finish. Titled the "Memphis Belle" the aircraft is based at IWM Duxford, where it serves as a flying memorial to the countless American airmen who lost their lives flying from UK bases during WWII.

Boeing Stearman PT-13D Kaydet (E75) 379 ex 42-16865 (G-ILLE). This aircraft was built in 1943 by the Stearman Aircraft Division of Boeing, at Wichita, KA. It was taken in charge by the United States Army Air Force, and was used by them as a Primary Trainer. In 1990 its US Civil Registration was cancelled, and it was shipped to the UK, where it was given the civil registration G-ILLE. Its colour scheme is that of an aircraft flown in service with the US Army Air Corps.

Bucker Jungmann S4-A07 (G-BWHP). The Bucker Jungmann is a German 1930s biplane used by the Luftwaffe as a basic trainer. The aircraft displayed is painted in old German Luftwaffe markings.

Hawker Sea Fury FB.Mk II WH558 Code 114/NW (G-EEMV). This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Australian Navy as WH588 in 1951. It was an asset of 808 Squadron, RAN, and saw operational service during the Korean War. It was struck off charge in September 1963, and subsequently modified as a Traget Tug in 1965. It returned to the UK in 1997. Known as "Baby Gorilla" the aircraft carries a Baby Gorilla logo on the starboard nose.

Fairey Swordfish Mk II LS326 Code L-2. This aircraft is a "Blackfish" built by Blackburn Aviation. It appears in its original wartime colour scheme for Atlantic convoys; during its service with L Flight, 836 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm. It saw service aboard MAC ships including the MV Rapana. It is the founder aircraft of the Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF) and is based at RNAS Yeovilton.

It is painted in the pre-war colour scheme of an aircraft of 810 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, serving aboard HMS Ark Royal. The aircraft is part of the Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF) and is based at RNAS Yeovilton.

Sopwith Triplane (Replica) N500. This aircraft is a replica of the first Triplane prototype. It was sent to France in June 1916, and test-flown in service with A Flight, No 1 Squadron, Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS). Only 150 Triplanes were built, and apart from a French Naval Squadron which flew the Triplane, they were only flown by the RNAS. This replica aircraft first flew in 1997.
