but I have no interest in posing for a birthday portrait !
This special guy truly has 9 lives - he just turned 21,
which is equivalent to 100 in human years!
He was originally named Isis, but after 9/11, the name just didn't fit his sweet, gentle spirit and our daughter would always say he was her Handsome Honeys and we just started calling him Honeys or more formally... Mr. Honeys 😺

I walked around looking for something interesting to photograph this morning. This box of washers was on my husbands tool chest and it caught my eye. I love how the macro lens can pick up the rough texture of the edges. It doesn't feel like it should be a photographic subject but sometimes random things can have interest.
