Auch der zweite Fahrradwagen war heute unterwegs – diesmal in Kombination mit dem 5047 065 als R 3187 (Aigen Schlägl > Linz Urfahr). Diesen Zug konnte ich zwischen Oepping und Rohrbach-Berg fotografisch festhalten.
Aktuell sind wieder zwei Triebwagen der Reihe 5047 im modernisierten rot/grauen Schrägdesign auf der Mühlkreisbahn im Einsatz. Einer davon, der 5047 099, konnte heute mit dem Regionalzug R 3189 auf seiner Fahrt von Aigen-Schlägl nach Linz Urfahr bei Oepping beobachtet werden. Seit vielen Jahren werden in den Sommermonaten einige 5047er Umläufe auf der Mühlkreisbahn durch einen Fahrradwagen ergänzt. Die beiden in Linz Urfahr stationierten Fahrradwagen haben jedoch bereits etliche Jahre im Einsatz hinter sich, was ihnen äußerlich auch deutlich anzusehen ist.

After recrewing the Presque Isle local, MNR Train 504-7 heads down the Presque Isle Sub at Scopan Lake on 10/7/2023. At Squapan they will grab more cars before running to Oakfield.
