Einige Monate zu Beginn des Jahres 1980 tauchte nachmittags kurz eine Lok der Baureihe 118 in Worms auf.
Die Loks dieser Baureihe verkehrten überwiegend in Bayern und Baden-Württemberg und insofern war diese Leistung mit dem N 6544 von Ludwigshafen nach Worms eine echte Rarität. Die Rückfahrt erfolgte als Lz. Die Chance bekam die Lok, weil sie planmäßig in Ludwigshafen eine Wendezeit von über 3 Stunden hatte.
