En el present estiu han estat moltes les tardes en què he anat a Pintar l'ambient dels diversos llocs en la ciutat de Manresa, aquí estic pintant aquarel·les en la llibreta a la Plaça Major amb l'edifici de l'Ajuntament darrere meu, avui l'objectiu ha estat el copsar l'ambient de les terrasses dels restaurants i el conjunt arquitectònic dels edificis, segut a la terrassa del restaurant Do Ut Des, veig la terrassa del bar Toni's i la del restaurant Taverna 1913, fotos de l'artista pintor Ernest Descals pintant les taules i la gent que es reuneix aquí al final de la tarda.

Over time I have discovered that watercolor is the most powerful way to express emotions and capture the spirit of places, perhaps for this reason I now paint constantly, my way of painting with watercolors allows me to simplify the link between my interior and the painted landscapes, on paper the pigments that move the water manifest themselves with direct connections to the essence of what I want to paint. Continuo pintant en el Castell de CARDONA, molts temes que ens parlen de l'antiga història de Catalunya, dins l'església romànica i Col·legiata de Sant Vicenç, em crida l'atenció el magnífic mausoleu i tomba del Comte Joan Ramon Folc I, conqueridor de Marsella, peça escultòrica de molt elegant marbre, que m'ha impressionat per la seva bellesa, les puntes en forma d'obelisc, els lleons que acompanyen a l'àngel, i tots els detalls que formen el sepulcre són mereixedors de ser pintats amb la fosca llum de l'interior de l'església, potser la tenebrosa il·luminació també ha sigut un element més d'atracció per mi. He pintat l'escena de l'interior del Bar Caraques a la plaça de la Reforma de Manresa, habitualment el local es troba mot concorregut, però avui plou fort al carrer i he pogut Pintar les taules i la pantalla de la TV en solitud, ha estat una imatge d'uns moments inèdits que m'ha fet gaudir de la sessió de pintura, amb les aquarel·les xineses he plasmat les sensacions sobre la llibreta de paper d'aquarel·la, en tinc de molt variades i en totes les llibretes puc treballar amb diferents resultats, tots m'interessen. Fotos que ha fet l'amic David Canet que m'acompanya sovint, ell també pinta. De visita al CASTELL de CARDONA, quants temes hem dona aquest lloc històric, he tingut l'impuls de Pintar el POU D'AIGUA que es troba en l'interior del Pati Ducal o Pati d'Armes, el recinte fortificat està proveït de diferents d'aigua que tenien la funció de poder beure en cas de setge, un dels arcs envolta l'escena on observo unes escales que són per accedir al Parador Nacional, amb una persona que està centrada mirant la profunditat del pou. Amb una aquarel·la solta i lleugera de temps he pintat l'escena que està dominada per les forces de la forta llum del sol que entra fins aquest meravellós pati. Aquestes són les hores en què més m'agrada de Pintar els paisatges, els darrers moments de la llum del sol que se'n va a dormir fins a l'endemà, la llum és totalment especial i pica sobre alguns fragments del paisatge amb dolça força creant contrast i harmonia. Situat en el Camí dels Corrals, a sota la basílica de la Seu de Manresa, faig algunes aquarel·les que puguin captar el moment fugisser, ara estic pintant en la llibreta el majestuós edifici de la COVA DE SANT IGNASI, d'arquitectura classicista, fa bastant vent i les fulles de la llibreta volen moure's, m'ho prenc amb alegria i continuo treballant les notes amb els colors suggerits per les llums capritxoses. Amb el pensament de poder pintar a tots llocs i en tots els ambients, he tornat a la BIBLIOTECA del CASINO de MANRESA, són temes especials i molt variats els que puc estar pintant en l'interior, avui he triat un racó en què una porta adquireix protagonisme i ofereix profunditat entre estanteries plenes de llibres i llibreries acompanyant a un noi jove que està llegint en la tranquil·litat de la seva taula, la llum entre per les finestres en les hores del final de la tarda i forma una atmosfera molt plàstica.
