Bali in Northern California..This new EXOTIC & TROPICAL nursery just barely opened up in San Jose six months ago. Visiting here, one would think they were transported to a completely different part of the world. Swaying palms & gigantic bamboos overhead, the sound of trickling water, the wonderful sweet smells of the surreal Frangipani flowers... wow what a really COOL PLACE :-) !!!
Close your eyes and imagine yourself to be in Bali..then open up your eyes !!!

In reality, places like this are a dime a dozen in warm weather area... Southern Calif, Hawaii, Florida etc.. but here in Northern Calif it is a much needed magical oasis in the middle of a concrete, congested & overpopulated area...!!!!
A closer view up into the trees & their foliage up in the Santa Cruz hills..I believe this is the southern most area in CA where you have these coastal Redwood forests..however small they are.. !!

We were on vacation on Åland some days ago and this picture was taken one early morning with my cellphone at the place where we stayed. A cottage in the woods, the temp was steady over 30C during daytime.
Wonderful nature and a mix of fancy homes, summerhouses and small red cottages in the archipelago of Stockholm.
