Blackpool was always the poor relation for demonstrators compared to the Brighton rally, with a small number usually parked along Middle Walk's wide pavement. Here are the half a dozen that I took on this visit.
VW LT35s were never hugely common in the PSV world, but they could make a more appealing 12-seater than a Ford Transit - but no doubt at a cost !
Advanced Vehicle Builders had a healthy order book for their conversion of LT vans through the 80s and 90s, although nowhere near as many as the major converters of the type, Devon Conversions and Robin Hood. I don't know what became of this one after its demonstration days were over, but it survived somewhere until 2003, which was a good run.
