Good blue door, with windows for three heights of person. by Tim Kiser

Good blue door, with windows for three heights of person.

The door leads to an apartment above a bar, the door to which is at the left.

I like triple-stairstep window arrangements on front doors, and I associate them with sunburst clocks.

Gosh there's a building from 1868 in there.

A commercial building from the year 1953! We are in eisenhower times again. by Tim Kiser

A commercial building from the year 1953! We are in eisenhower times again.

Per G. Streetview this was formerly the Short Stop Bar.

Per its property record the upstairs is an apartment. The building is reported to have been remodeled in 1983 so maybe the stone veneer isn't from 1953?!

As we closely admire the building we notice traces of some kind of former awnings or ornamentations above the first floor windows and doors.

I was not fooled for even an instant by that phony mansard roof.

I predict that the building will never again be occupied, not by squatters nor anybody.
