Taken for the Active Assignment Weekly! group. This month's assignment: The Beauty of Technology

So I have become the owner of a powerful new computer recently (it was about time, my old 2002 machine just couldn't handle my picture manipulations anymore...)
Beside its internal values it is also far more attractive than my older model (I am still talking about the computer). My son thinks about it the same way and is especially fascinated by the blue light and the huge fan at the side.

What it took: Blue LED light seems to be a problem for camera sensors. They are just not very sensitive on the blue channel. So in order to keep some details of the light I had to underexpose the shot and decided to turn everything that is not coming from the blue light into bw (photoshop select blue channel, mask, invert, convert to bw). This is not exactly what I had in mind when giving out the assignment but November is still long and I will eventually post a second entry.
P.S.: If you miss details in the dark, turn up your monitor brightness. It is there! I monitored the histogram.
