Famous architect I. M. Pei's bad idea for brownish-pink circles at the entrance to an officebldg in Dayton Ohio in 1981.

Ugh these brownish-pink circles might have been the worst idea of I. M. Pei's long, long career. They look bad now but they looked even worse when they were new!

In 1983 I. M. Pei won the Pritzker Prize but the jury must not have seen pictures of these unsightly brownish-pink circles in Dayton.

Pink staircase shelter with hanging display of surgical masks and puddle of vomit.

I am sorry to gross you out with pictures of puke but I liked the pink paint and I needed to document the help-yourself surgical mask distribution sites of the year 2020. You remember seeing those everywhere. Doesn't this one resemble a blue flower.

Oh wow the building is from 1906.

Oh wow look at the staircase's support posts.

A comically ungainly '04 windowlessness in beige and pink.

Ugh 2004 a very bad war year but the architects and builders stayed busy in Los Angeles.

Guess what is just around the left corner of the building, a Quiznos, you can see the Q logo on the red umbrella.
