My Mother-in-Law took us out to eat for dinner. She surprised everyone by bringing her friend, Lisa with her.We ordered a Cheese dip to go with the free tortilla chips. Then we orders some drinks: my Mother-in-Law got a small margarita, my wife got a Diet soda, I got a Sweet tea and Lisa got a Sweet tea with Lemon.
We all got something different to eat: Mother-in-Law got Malcojete mix, my wife got Spinach and mushroom Enchiladas (and added Chicken), I got Chicken carnitas with corn tortillas and Lisa got the Taco salad with ranch dressing and no beans.
We all got takeout containers for leftovers.

Yes this is an amazing balancing act! But is it real?
The bell peppers are indeed real but they are magically linked on the back by a thin cardboard strip taped to each pepper so they would maintain a balance of sorts. However, even with my wondrous taping skills, it still required about 27 photos to get the right one. The tape did not necessarily like sticking to the peppers and kept popping loose causing most of the photos to be a bit of mayhem. The last four of five photos managed to hold it together and this is photo number 26. Yes I suffered for my art here, but no peppers were harmed in the production of this photo, although I cannot say this will be the case after supper tonight.
We're Here shows how I Suffered for my Art today.
My wife grilled up Veggies to put in a Grilled pasta salad. She also grilled some Pork chops and Corn. She chopped up the veggies and put them in a large Pampered Chef salad bowl, I cooked up Rotini pasta and added that to the salad bowl. We added Italian dressing, Kalamata olives and cubed Mozzarella cheese.

My wife made us a Chicken cacciatore / Veggie soup with Pasta shells. She got all the veggies cut up, added the chicken thighs, chicken stock and canned diced tomatoes to our Dutch oven. I cooked the pasta shells when the cacciatore / soup was almost complete. As usual, we had plenty of leftovers for a couple more meals.

I reheated up some Chicken, Beans & Rice leftovers we had in the freezer. I topped it with Shredded cheddar cheese, Pico de Gallo and Sour cream. Delicious!

The chicken descended from above, arms stretched toward an unseen sky, as if caught in a dramatic final act. Suspended in midair, yellow feathers swirled around it like echoes of a lost past. Below, the stage was set—ripe tomatoes, fiery chilies, fragrant herbs, and the unmistakable scent of paprika, waiting to embrace their fated guest.
István swirled his glass of white wine, watching the slow descent. “Even in flight, you cannot escape tradition,” he mused, reaching for the spice that would seal its destiny.
Tonight, Magyar paprikás csirke would be made with theatrical flair.

We made Chili with Ground chicken for dinner tonight. Used Diced tomatoes, a can of Pinto beans, and two cans of Black beans. Topped our bowls of Chili with shredded cheese and Sour cream. We had leftovers and I ended up freezing some in takeout soup containers for future lunches.
