Currently displayed at the Magritte Museum in Brussels, this sensual and poetic work features a female nude—modeled after the artist's wife, Georgette—standing in profile and resting her hand on a stone block. I recently picked up a fungus-ridden super-Takumar, and I cleaned it up. I usually de-yellow my lenses, but I wanted to compare its image to my SMC Tak first. Besides the yellowing, the multi-coatings clearly help the contrast and clarity. There is also a strong sharpness difference, but the Super-Takumar is still more than sharp enough to get some dreamy images.

Takumars are VERY warm lenses, even the de-yellowed copies. My key light and WB are both set to 5600k in these shots.
