Today's We're Here Challenge: Broken Things
We finally got to watch Wild Robot. It was better than I thought it would be.
I celebrated my 72nd trip around the sun peacefully at home with Darek. It was my best birthday to date.

Unfortunately, the neck of my guitar broke, and I mean, completely broke. Not sure how that can happen, but I'm hoping it can be glued together again. But maybe it's like Humpty Dumpty, and all the kings horses and all the king's men...well, you know....
Anyway, I thought I should photograph it with the strings loose and flying everywhere. After all, everything is a photographic opportunity :)
Shot with Oreston 50mm and 12mm extension tubes.

Grandson still off school today. He started the day very lethargic, with no appetite. About 11:30, he asked if we could go to my place so that I could make pancakes. I reminded him that we would all be having pancakes tonight. (Shrove Tuesday), but he agreed to have an everyday sort of lunch. And a bit of cake.
He agreed to be my photographic assistant - this wasn't quite the shot I was hoping for, but I ran out of eggs. Also, we both got very sticky hands.
(No eggs will be wasted - it's pancake day.)
