I'm delighted with these cute vintage china cups and saucers that I found in a charity shop.
They were manufactured by Royal Vale China in the village of Longton, Stroke-on-Trent, England, and judging from the stamp, were manufactured between 1928 and 1937.

At We’re Here! the members are on the hunt for Charity Shop Finds. I believe I really scored today! I needed a new pie plate, found this one on offer at Goodwill to be quite attractive, and at 99 cents the price was right. When I got home I was delighted to learn from eBay that the artist, Susan Winget, makes this one a collectible, valued in the $20-$25 range. How fun is that?
I decided to put my photo in a kitchen setting for the Kreative People August event, Kitchen View.
Today's finds were a squeaky toy for Lulu and the book which a friend has been looking for. The scales were a find from a couple of weeks ago which means that my antique set has been pensioned off and that I can now weigh things in grams.
I shall probably regret buying the toy.
