This classic tram design is literally an "urban signature" of Prague.

This is the hotel in which I stayed. The interior's a bit "Soviet", but the corner of the hotel bar is worthy of mention for its ideal position in watching the passing tram traffic along Milady Horakove.
Together with car no. 2077, they form the Cafe Tramvaj at the heart of Wencelas Square.
Note the Jindrisska Tower behind.
This model is from a reconstruction batch of the KT8D5R design. Note how the white band curves below the front windscreen, an extra, smaller pair of lights, and the central ultra low floor section.
The Gothic Jindrisska Tower in the background is off the main tourist trail, and yet is just a short walk or ride from Wenceslas Square. It is Prague's oldest separate belfry.
