One pleasure of visiting and or staying in Mexico City Condesa or Roma neighbourhoods is the wide avenues with landscaped median walkways. More like linear parks.
This median is on Avenida Mazatlan, Condesa.
When in Roma Norte, visit Fuente de Cibeles, the centre piece of a 7 street roundabout.
This fountain with a statue of a Roman goddess is a replica of the historic fountain in Madrid.
The fountain was placed here in 1980. This copy was donated by Spanish residents of Mexico.
The design on these 4 complimenting Roma Norte bollards caught my eye.

These ones are at the Mexican Foreign Service office on Calle Durango 128.
ASEM is a non-profit association of career members of the Mexican Foreign Service, independent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The central feature of Plaza Río de Janeiro is a fountain with a replica of Michelangelo's David. This plaza is surrounded by old mansions and modern residential buildings.
The park’s most remarkable element is the David statue in the centre of the park. Cast in bronze, not much more is known about it.
The statue was placed here in 1976, presumably by the park architect, Juan Alvarez Ordoñez. The project was lead by the Mexico City government to reshape the neighborhood.

The ofrenda, or altar, for Día de los Muertos is a colorful ritual that honors deceased loved ones. It's a mix of cultural traditions that includes elements from both European and Indigenous cultures.
