Living around Seattle, you get use to the overcast cloudy days, I use them to my advantage. I think clouds can be moody and bring character to a scene. I captured the morning light peaking through the clouds onto the new waterfront areas.

A view overlooking the city of Seattle, WA during rush hour traffic with vibrant colors and detailed architecture. Using a telephoto lens, allowed me to zoom into the Emerald city by zooming over the majority of the trees.

Photographing across the Puget Sound to the other side of the Seattle skyline can be challenging. The heat waves, the lighting, clouds and moisture in the air.
My post editing process was flat, matte and lots of gray colors.

In this photo I wanted to use a deeper richer look while retaining my grunge Gotham feel, during my editing process.
About my editing methods:
I love the time period 1800's and the warm, flat colors. My process is done by creating my own filters in Adobe Photoshop and shooting RAW.
