The Fly kit.
This model depicts Northwest Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 N984US. It displays the Northwest Airlines livery as it appeared between 1985 and 1989--essentially the scheme that Northwest Orient used throughout the 1970s, but now with the word 'Orient' deleted from the title.
The decals for the Northwest livery were taken from the Flight Path MD80 sheet. The decals for the windows, registration, and detailing were taken from scraps accumulated from earlier projects over the years.
