The ConeLITE Synchro utilises the innovative synchro technology, designed to direct drivers away from hazards and lane closures by giving the appearance of a light pulse travelling along the lamps. The lamps can be used in any combination within a cone taper and they will synchronise correctly in a few seconds.
- Automatic operation from a single battery, activated by a contact switch when placed on a cone
- Outstanding performance, high intensity LED coupled with low intensity back light
- Battery life of 1400 hours when used with a Unipart Dorman Air Alkaline DAAB 50
- Quick & easy battery change reduces worker exposure
- Durable high intensity polypropylene body with polycarbonate unidirectional lens

Of special note
That passing Ford Focus is 18 years old. Note the missing boot badges. All the MOTs from 2008 to 2022 are clean. Mileage has slowly risen from 9,893 miles to 33,533 miles.
The changes around South Bank since my last visit a year or so back is more than apparent. Gone are the Dorman Long coke works towers and the crumpled remains of the Basic Oxygen Steelmaking plant that dominated the skylilne here up until the 1st October can be seen in the distance.

Sydney
The city centre is now much more built up with skyscrapers, and the Opera House had not yet been built on Bennelong Point; work commenced on the 2nd. March 1959, therefore the card was published prior to that date.
Construction of the Opera House was expected to take four years whereas in fact it took 14 years. The work involved 10,000 construction workers.
Paul Robeson (1898 - 1976) was the first person to perform at the Opera House. On the 9th. November 1960 he gave an unofficial concert when he performed for construction workers during their lunch break.
The American singer and political activist sang Ol' Man River for the spellbound workers who looked on from the scaffolding at the Opera House site.
The Opera House was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on the 20th. October 1973.
Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a heritage-listed steel through arch bridge in Sydney, spanning Sydney Harbour from the Central Business District to the North Shore. Nicknamed "The Coat-hanger" because of its arch-based design, the bridge carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
Under the direction of John Bradfield of the New South Wales Department of Public Works, the bridge was designed and built by the British firm Dorman Long of Middlesbrough. They based the design on their 1928 Tyne Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Construction of the bridge started on the 28th. July 1923, and ended on the 19th. January 1932. The bridge was opened on the 19th. March 1932.
The bridge's general design, which was produced by the NSW Department of Public Works, was a rough copy of the Hell Gate Bridge in New York City. This design however, did not form any part of the request for tender, which remained sufficiently broad as to allow a cantilever (Bradfield's original preference) and even a suspension bridge.
The winning design was original work created by Dorman Long, who incorporated some of the design from the Tyne Bridge which, though superficially similar, does not share the graceful flares at the ends of each arch which make the harbour bridge so distinctive.
Sydney Harbour Bridge is the eighth longest spanning-arch bridge in the world and the tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 m (440 ft) from the top to water level. It was also the world's widest long-span bridge, at 48.8 m (160 ft) wide, until construction of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver was completed in 2012.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge went on to be added to the Australian National Heritage List on the 19th. March 2007 (the bridge's 75th. birthday), and to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on the 25th. June 1999.
