A French language brochure, issued through the offices of the "Chemins de Fer Britanniques" in Paris, giving details of the many locations and destinations served by the "Big Four" British railways and mentioning Ireland. It is a product of the Associated British & Irish Railways, formed after 1932/33, that was intended to streamline the marketing of Britian's railways abroad rather than the various companies competing and incurring additional expense.
The striking cover is uncredited; the brochure carries a London Midland & Scottish ERO number, suggesting that this was a year they 'led' on the folder's production and it is undated. However a photograph of the new, electric Brighton Belle of the Southern Railway appears and so it would have to be post-1933.
