Ive chosen an earlier frame than I normally would to show off the often underrated scenery of south Lincs. In the distance the River Witham flows from its source just behind Great Ponton, visible with its masonry spire above the trees
Retro liveried 91119 ‘Bounds Green’ is seen flying through Offord Cluny on approach to the A14 bypass working 1D06 London King’s Cross to Leeds.
After a couple of setbacks since returning to service just over a month ago due to a brake issue and later a smashed windscreen, it is a brilliant sight to see back in regular service on the mainline.
Drs`s 68004 "Rapid" + 68034 "RailRiders" are seen passing Burn with 6Z20 the 06.49 Sellafield B.N.F. to Doncaster west yard wagon move 14/05/2025.
A location that was once a spotting favourite of mine, I took a look to see how it was, 6 years on from my last visit.
800105 passes Killingworth UWC with 1E13, the 07:55 LNER service from Inverness to London Kings Cross.
