This is the last standing covered bridge in Ontario. Its 198-foot span crosses the Grand River. It was ideal for travel by horses, who are usually afraid of running water but feel safe crossing water when there are walls around them. It was built in 1881, designed by John Bear, and major repairs were done in 1999. It's also known as the "kissing bridge" because it's a popular spot for lovers. Found in Woolwich County, Ontario on Guelph-Elmira Road.
