As a independent producer and researcher for 25 years, Patricio Lanfranco Leverton has worked with some of the world´s top correpondents, filmmakers and directors. 6 years took to him and Elizabeth Farnsworth make and direct the documentary film called, "The Judge and the General", about judge Juan Guzmán´s attempts to bring Augusto Pinochet to justice for human rights crimes. The film that had its world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2008, was nominated and won diferents awards in diferents countries.
Lanfranco was the firts chilean nominated to the Emmy award,"it´s a epic not a political film", he said, a documentary with film structure...a piece of the chile´s history.
