I love doors and have photographed hundreds of them. There is something about it that arouses one's curiosity...the history of who lived there, the events that took place there, and the amount of times it's been opened and closed by humans or their pets, just get you thinking, where were they going or have come from. And through it all, it's still standing and welcomes anyone who opens it. This door was taken while I was walking in Manchester, England.
