Roses

If it's the first week of May in the Bluegrass, it must be time for Kentucky Derby special trains.

This year, both CSX's Office Car special and RJ Corman's "Old Kentucky Dinner Train"--featuring a pair of ex-SOU F-units--hauled the hoi polloi to Churchill Downs in high style.

With a friendly wave from the crew, the Corman train passes some blooming rose bushes along Frankfort Avenue in Louisville on its way to Churchill Downs and the "Run for the Roses"...as the KY Derby is known.
